MORE VENDORS than last time I think, however, lots of jellys being sold. Some other home canned items like pickled items, salsa. Few fresh items, 3$ for 12 cherry tomatoes did seem extreme. Some jewelry. INTERESTING: local fresh duck eggs, local Texas honey. Very nice unusually decorated wood & furniture items. AS USUAL- very nice, friendly people. I rate 4☆ for duck eggs, local honey, wood items & nice vendors.

Was not open despite being there during open hours. The door was difficult to find. The door had a number to call if the door was locked when they were supposed to be open, we called no one answered.

Previous large lake in north Texas. I was very impressed by its raw beauty and exposed rock formations and colors. Sunsets are magnificent with bright orange and red to grab your breath before going down. Go solo, get in and out for 45-60 mins for your excercise and for the magnificent views that you take with you. You feel cleansed, recharged just like came from from church…. For the next few days …

Not a crowded lake..plenty of space for Boats and Personal Watercrafts..great locations for picnics

Wonderful place for a rustic beach camp experience. The only downfall was the broken beer and liquor bottles and dirty soaked diapers on the ground. The bathrooms could have been maintained better but free is free.

Beautiful lake. Awesome hiking trails and great fishing dock.

This is a really nice recreation area. There is plenty of hiking and interesting things like Alibates flint quarry. The lake and views are fantastic and there is great wildlife, including roadrunners:-) This is a great area for a weekend trip. Would certainly recommend it for camping and hiking.

Multi generation family run drilling business . The Burketts treat each job as if they were doing it for themselves or another family member. If you need a water well drilled I suggest you call them first!
