Laguna Madre Water District Plant #2 - Laguna Vista

Only one star because it’s not possible to give less. They charge more for water than anywhere I’ve ever lived, and the water isn’t even drinkable(non-potable) you have to have a house filtration system to drink the water and you can still taste the salt. Totally unacceptable.

Their Police Department act as if they get a commission/bonus for every ticket they issue. I pass by the town every day, and no matter what time of the day it is they have cars pulled over all the time. My friend was recently given a citation for going 1 mile over the speed limit. Ridiculous I had always been respectful and appreciative of the Ploice force, but this guy's give all police a bad name.

All I can say is Investigator Salinas has a way of just helping you calm down,he's totally different than the rest. Thank u Mr Salinas u made a difference in my day today. 12/14/22 Chief of police & Cardenas are the worst,I don't know why la villa even has a police dept,Cardenas& chief of police dont care for their community,cases are not looked into properly,paperwork is not done correctly& they ( Cardenas& the chief of police)& their mayor,all lie about everything. Cardenas& chief of police,never did the paper work needed for an extradition on a case I have,so the criminal who was suppose to be extradited to Tx was set free because these incompetent fools in La villa pd don't know what they are doing. God forbid anything happen to you at La villa cus they ain't gunna do anything for you to get justice. They should close La villa pd& just let Edinburg Pd take over that dpt.

La Villa is a very traditional small town located in the Northeast corner of Hidalgo County. Great place to raise a family!

We had major leak in our mobile and luckily we chose Rick to rescue us . We were living in Canada at the time and Rick took right over and did a truly awesome job . He and his men worked soo fast and did such a professional job . He kept us informed of progress daily with photos and verbally by phone .You cannot find a better company to work with .lt was a truly great experience .Rick deserves more than five stars .

Rick's is amazing. They do it all like handyman. I came in blind not knowing what or how to fix my manufactured home. I desperately needed new subflooring. I unfortunately made a lot of mistakes in allowing water to damage my home that was unfortunately made with OSB. I had so much water damage that the floor bucked and caved throughout my entire house. Rick is so well informed and patient. He sat me down and explained everything that needed to happen because I was at the point I felt I needed to rip everything out to start fresh. I was so overwhelmed with it all. Finally we settled on a plan of starting out with what needed to take priority and then go from there. They move furniture. First it was the floors, tore all the flooring because unfortunately it was all bad. Replace it with the good plywood not OSB and screwed it in not nailed so it won't creak. Braced some floor joint that unfortunately had partially rotted. Caulked where the floors met the walls. Unfortunately at the moment I can't afford to have the fancy flooring just yet but he will be doing that as well. Then he put on a second metal roof because my shingles were so bad that any wind would cause them to fall off. They did a couple of tiny projects around the house like handyman. Installed 2 toilets, a water heater outside with a home for the said water heater and an awning for my front door to prevent future water from coming inside and causing more water damage. Finally gave my home a wash because it was covered in mold outside. My home before felt all wobbly and loose but now it feels so sturdy. Like I said they do it all and in the future once I save up more money Im going to have them do everything else that needs to be done. I am so glad I found Rick's. I use to struggle having to find good quality companies to do the jobs I needed because each one only does that one thing. Rick's does it all. We already have a plan in place to do the underbelly insulation with the vapor barrier and a metal mesh that will prevent future animals from tearing it open and causing more water damage. Water is so so bad for manufactured homes, do everything possible to keep it out. I've learned my lesson now. They also cleaned everything up and dispose of it all plus some. Looks like they weren't even here. TLDR: go with Rick's they do it all. Rick explains it all. I will never have to worry again about having to find anyone else for my future home projects. I've attached and will attach any future photos of all the projects. If you are reading this please feel comfortable in knowing that you are in good hands like I feel I am. I am so happy with how everything has turned out and so excited for the future. I finally have peace of mind and pray you have the same. It feels so good to be on this side now.

Had a critter problem so I called ricks mobile home repair to take care of it. Had under belly and installation replaced and rick even added chicken wire to keep the critters from going in, very professional, very clean, and very fast service from ricks mobile home repair highly recommend!
