A surprisingly delightful gathering place with a balcony sized to hold your group for an iconic golden hour picture. Easy access building from both beachside and roadside. Clean restrooms. Good sized kitchen. My dog Truman @trumuchfun and I ran the Surfside beach race and Stahlman was race headquarters- great spot for race launch.

I did a wedding here in October. It’s a very nice area for a beachfront wedding. They have a lovely outside deck and gazebo as well an inside reception area. There’s easy access to the beach and lots of parking. I recommend this if you are wanting a nice beach wedding on Galveston island.

We love this place so much! It's where my husband and I had our wedding reception just over two years ago. And we come back to visit and swim often, as my family moved near the gulf. It's such a great place to swim. Busy, but that's because it's so wonderful. Mostly people are courteous and you will find a place for your fam to camp out for the day.

No entry fee, free parking, nice little covered playground. Restrooms dirty but worked. Great views on the jetty - great place to walk or ride a mountain bike. Partially paved; people pull wagons with fishing gear or kids.

It took us 1.5 hours on Saturday morning to get there from Northwest Houston area due to the traffic by the NRG stadium due to the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show. Free parking, nice fishing areas near the big rocks (be careful going down), and a mostly sandy beach area for swimming but the water was cold. Overall, family-friendly and clean. We also saw 4 dolphins swimming near the breakwater.

Loved fishing here. It's a beautiful spot to fish in March. It's a super great spot to watch the sunrise in March as well. We caught a few fish. I recommend this place for family outings. There is a restroom on site. The pier is about two miles down. #its a different type of peace ✌️

Super reliable trash pickup—always on time and really convenient. I also rented one of their big dumpsters for spring cleaning, and it made things way easier. Drop-off and pickup were smooth. Definitely recommend if you’re out in the country and need dependable trash service!

It's been a struggle to get a good trash company out here. Never had any problems with Davis Disposal. The reviews giving negative feedback are completely unreasonable. Always happy to support a local business!

Beautiful weather and amazing people. We loved going to AR's for menudo and had amazing food at Port Cafe. We also loved the fresh oysters at Pier 30. Our last night, we loved the beach front bar and grill, and our server Destiny was excellent! Fun for kids.

It is a very nice beach to watch the sunset and sunrise, it has beautiful places nearby and it is also a very quiet beach.

We bring our dog here every summer and we all love it! We usually stay on the beach but have driven on the beach once! It's not too crowded on week days but does get busy Saturdays. Make sure to get a burger and drinks from seaside bar and grill. Don't miss the sunrise. This is a special little texas beach!

It’s a nice beach to relax. Being a first timer, it was a good experience for me. If you have beach permit then you can park on the beach otherwise outside for free. There is one public restroom near outside parking. (Not clean) Regular police patrolling happens. I think only one restaurant is there on the beach where you can eat and drink. Beach is not very deep so you can enjoy going far. I think there are no swim guards too. You can bring dogs.

Beautiful beach ! If you have a permit you can park on the beach!!! The water was warm and beach goers seem to keep it clean! Will definitely go again earlier to spend day!
