A surprisingly delightful gathering place with a balcony sized to hold your group for an iconic golden hour picture. Easy access building from both beachside and roadside. Clean restrooms. Good sized kitchen. My dog Truman @trumuchfun and I ran the Surfside beach race and Stahlman was race headquarters- great spot for race launch.

I did a wedding here in October. It’s a very nice area for a beachfront wedding. They have a lovely outside deck and gazebo as well an inside reception area. There’s easy access to the beach and lots of parking. I recommend this if you are wanting a nice beach wedding on Galveston island.

We love this place so much! It's where my husband and I had our wedding reception just over two years ago. And we come back to visit and swim often, as my family moved near the gulf. It's such a great place to swim. Busy, but that's because it's so wonderful. Mostly people are courteous and you will find a place for your fam to camp out for the day.

Very expensive to wash clothes here, and they barley smell like the laundry detergent i used. It’s 7.00 for a small load here, but since it’s 24 hrs i mean

Clean machines ,you can drop off your clothes and they will wash them..Pricing is reasonable. And they are very nice ladies that work there.

My washing machine broke, so I resorted to trying out Beal's Bubbles. I haven't been to a washateria in years. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. It was clean, actually had air conditioning, a restroom, there was no wait to use the machines, and they have an employee who works on site. If you forget your laundry detergent, it's not a problem because you can buy some there. I went on a Wednesday, which apparently is the cheapest day to go. I fixed my washing machine, so I probably won't be back. If you find yourself in the same situation, I'd definitely give Beal's a try.

What a wonderful job today! Everything was professional and trustworthy! (Being a single parent of a disabled child, that truly means something.) Moreno Tree Service took down a dead 25-30 feet oak tree in my front yard right beside my house and ground seven stumps in my backyard. They showed up on time with a six person crew and all the equipment necessary to take down the tree. After seven hours of work, they left no evidence they were here except a pile of mulch. I could not have asked for more. As for price, I got three quotes from different companies and all were comparable, but Mr. Moreno’s was the most comprehensive and competitive. Also, while he was here, he ended up getting some additional stump grinding work from the neighbors! I wish I could find pre-cut pictures, but I’ve added the after shots for your review.

This company was very quick to respond to a fallen tree in my yard from hurricane Beryl. They did a good job at removing all the debris and grinding down the stump. The price was fair for the amount of work it took to do the job.

Mr Moreno was very professional & personable. He came out to look at a tree that had fallen across my driveway on Sunday evening & had his crew to my house at 8:00 am Monday morning. They worked quickly & had my driveway cleaned up in just a couple of hours. He did the job exactly how we had discussed. I will be using Moreno Tree Service for more tree work in the future. No entry fee, free parking, nice little covered playground. Restrooms dirty but worked. Great views on the jetty - great place to walk or ride a mountain bike. Partially paved; people pull wagons with fishing gear or kids.

It took us 1.5 hours on Saturday morning to get there from Northwest Houston area due to the traffic by the NRG stadium due to the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show. Free parking, nice fishing areas near the big rocks (be careful going down), and a mostly sandy beach area for swimming but the water was cold. Overall, family-friendly and clean. We also saw 4 dolphins swimming near the breakwater.

Loved fishing here. It's a beautiful spot to fish in March. It's a super great spot to watch the sunrise in March as well. We caught a few fish. I recommend this place for family outings. There is a restroom on site. The pier is about two miles down. #its a different type of peace ✌️

Bob and Toni Kotrla, owners of KES (Kotrla Electrical Services, LLC), exceeded our expectations when they came to handle an emergency. After a delivery driver unintentionally ripped down our main power line and our weather head from the house they quickly responded to our call. They sourced all the necessary parts the same day and traveled to Houston to find them, as no local supplier had what we needed. They worked diligently, even staying past 5 pm to ensure our problem was resolved. Best of all, they didn't overcharge us for his and his team's exceptional service. Kotrla Electrical came out to give me a quote on a transfer switch. They gave me the best price and were very knowledgeable about the process. After accepting the quote, they came out within a few days and completed the work fast and precise. The whole experiencing was very thorough and very helpful. I would use them again and again for any electrical services.
